Shipping Policy
Last Updated: October 11, 2026
1. Where We Deliver
Area 13 delivers to addresses inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia only. Orders cannot be shipped to addresses outside the Kingdom. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.
2. Who Delivers Your Order
AREA 13 DEVELOPMENT Company For Trading (CR 7055365667) is the seller of every order and is responsible to you for delivering it. Goods are dispatched in one of these ways:
- By the supplier on our behalf: the supplier that supplies the goods to Area 13 prepares them and delivers them to you, or hands them to a courier, on Area 13's behalf.
- Through Area 13's carriers: we book a courier or freight carrier to collect the goods and deliver them to you.
- Imported goods: goods supplied from outside the Kingdom are imported by Area 13 as importer of record. We arrange international freight, customs clearance, and local delivery, and we pay the customs duty, import fees, and import VAT. These charges are already included in the total you paid at checkout; nothing is collected on delivery.
An order may arrive in several shipments, each with its own status and tracking.
3. Delivery Times
- Where an estimate is available, it is shown before you place your order. For a quote, the lead time stated in the quote is the agreed delivery period.
- Large, heavy, made-to-order, and imported goods usually take longer than stock items.
- Estimates depend on the supplier, the product, and your location, and can be affected by events outside our control, such as customs inspections.
4. Late Delivery
If delivery is delayed by more than 15 days beyond the agreed delivery date, and the delay is not caused by force majeure, you may cancel the late goods and are refunded what you paid for them, including the related delivery and import charges, as set out in Section 11 of our Returns and Refunds Policy. We tell you about significant delays as soon as we know of them. If a supplier cannot dispatch goods on time, we may cancel those goods ourselves and refund you on the same basis.
5. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated from the goods, their weight and size, and your delivery address, and are always shown at checkout before you pay. Where a free-delivery threshold applies, checkout shows it. Domestic delivery charges are included in the amount the Service fee is calculated on for payments received before 1 November 2026, and carry VAT for payments received from that date (see section 5.3 of our Terms of Service).
6. Tracking Your Order
You can follow every shipment from the order page in your account. We also notify you by email as it reaches its main stages — for example dispatched, out for delivery, and delivered.
7. Receiving Your Delivery
- Make sure your delivery address, contact name, and phone number are complete and correct before you place your order. We cannot be responsible for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect details.
- When your shipment is out for delivery you receive a delivery code. Give it to the courier only once you have received your goods: the courier uses it to confirm the handover. Using the code confirms delivery; it does not waive your rights for damage, shortages, or defects found afterwards.
- If the courier cannot reach you, the attempt is recorded and delivery is rearranged. Repeated failed attempts caused by the delivery details or by no one being available may delay the order or lead to its cancellation; in that case you are refunded the price of the goods, and we may deduct the delivery costs actually incurred.
- Bulky materials may need suitable access at the delivery site, such as a clear path for unloading. Contact us before ordering if your site has restrictions.
8. Risk and Ownership
Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address on your order. Ownership passes once the price is paid in full; for quote orders with a deposit, when the balance is paid.
9. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Goods
Please check your goods when they arrive. If anything is damaged, missing, or not what you ordered, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos so we can act quickly. Area 13 will arrange a replacement, a return, or a refund. Reporting later does not remove your statutory rights.
10. Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, customs inspections, public holidays, port closures, or government action. We keep you informed, and if an event of this kind prevents delivery for more than 30 days you may cancel the affected goods for a full refund.
11. Returns
Returns are handled under our Returns and Refunds Policy.
